Interestingly Mick tweeted to Maria:
so sorry 2 read your tweet re #TOWIE hope the future is bright I enjoyed our time together on the show, all the best love mick X

The "on the show" part is telling. Proves what I have said all along. It is completely scripted.

Also, he tweeted to Billie "long time no see". I noticed this when the last series started they had all said in interviews they hadn't seen each other for months, so more obvious that they are a cast and not such close friends as is made out.

I love the tone...like discovering the show is scripted is a sherlock holmes moment...It even says at the start of the show, some parts have been created purely for your entertainment...that's right entertainment. Not hard hitting documentary on Essex.

Yes..but some people believe it is REAL.

I think the 'on the show' was a reference to the fact they worked together, whether its real or not or how much of it is 'reality' they are still working and there's a bunch of cameras there and Mick in context sounds like he's saying basically 'I enjoyed our time working together' as a response to her leaving work.

On Loose Women last week Harry and Lydia said they do all know each other but a lot of them dont like each other, which I think is fair there are many people in life who you are friends with who you dont see for a long time, or even more so if you dont get along you try and avoid them.

I don't think it's super realistic but it would be depressing and not fun if it was, watching people go through real problems, like when they barely mentioned Sam and Billies real life horrific attack, it's a light show and that's why I think it works, its just something simple to watch. I personally watch it for that reason as it's simple and easy to watch that doesnt involve much brain power haha

Lydia, Arg, Lauren & Sam are the only ones left, I think Lucy is an original too? for some reason she's never been in the titles though.

there's apparently 4 series this year, I think by the 4 there will be a whole new cast

Twelve new cast seems a bit much, but it could work out I suppose. I think with the show loosing Mark, Kirk, Maria, and Harry all in one series, it would be weird to introduce so many new people. I would prefer they introduced less, and really gave the existing cast members some juicer storylines.

Don't say that! It makes it sound like the programme's scripted or something!

We knew this already, surely? I certainly don't watch TOWIE under the illusion that it's some sort of observational documentary.

I'm a bit dubious about its future though. I think S4 will be make or break as it will be the biggest cast change thus far. They failed to fill the gaping hole left by Mark's exit in the Xmas special but I will forgive them that as it is the next series that really counts.

The weirdest moment of the whole series that proved to me that it was scripted was when Billie first saw Kirk. From complimenting him on his ferrari at the petrol station to becoming one of the "girls", owning her shop and having known the whole cast for years.

This supposed new girl, she doesn't know anyone so how's this going to work? At least everyone else in the cast actually knows people. How is this girl going to fit in? And if she's supposed to be the female version of Mark what's that supposed to mean? A bit of a slag? Lol. Imagine the hate she will get mark gets away with a lot of thing because he's male and good looking IMO.

I do like the idea of a new family though. Apparently 2 hot boys in it and the sun say Chloe and Gemma are going to be looking for boyfriends in it so maybe the girls will target them.

I think the new members should be friends or family of the current cast. Like I don't know maybe Sams boyfriend.

Also I don't understand why Harry has been axed over the likes of the twins, cara, billow, perri ect?

I dont understand the whole, 'is it fake/how much is real/scripted?' sort of thinking, I take it for what I think it is, just some harmless (for the most part) entertainment that doesnt take itself too seriously. If I found out it was 100% scripted and that they infact, hate each other, never spend time together outside of shooting it, my opinion would of the show would not change at all. I think its a great show, its pure pleasure, not guilty at all.

Mario just bought £5.2 million yacht.

Surely that means he must be the richest on the show?

Wow that is a lot of money

And a while ago in an interview Arg did say that a few of the girls on the show were already really well off. I don't know which ones though.

There is no way he bought that, unless its daddys money he probably just hired it for a week or something.

I agree. Even if he could afford to buy it, which I doubt, the upkeep would run into millions each year so he'd have to be Beckham rich to afford to keep it going, which he isn't

it's easy for them to get into bars with fake ids. Well not fake, but id of an older person that looks like them or they add a see through sticker on the D.O.B to change the age.

it's so easy lol.

TOWIE seasons 1 to 3 are on Netflix.

Well worth signing up for the free trial, rewatching episode 1 and instantly remembering why I fell instantly in love with the show

Sexy Scattered.
Losing Lauren is like losing a pet, dogs last about 9 or 10 years.
IF I get back with Lauren, I will propose, but I might not bother getting back with her at all.
