Does Patsy want out....?
Socha

She practically gave her farewell speech to Tess, before and after seeing the results.

She said things like 'I know I'm not a great dancer' 'if we go out, at least we had fun', things like that.

Looks like she is throwing the towel in the ring. Maybe she finds the pressure too much?

Too much work, perhaps? Isn't she still in Holby City? Or Casualty? Something like that. I'm amazed some of the actors have heavy schedules and then have to learn a dance too. All credit to them but it must be very tiring.

She has just finished in Holby/Casualty I think.......I cant work out if she wants out or she is just not good at self promotion

Not at all. We have no idea the pressure SCD puts on a person so after a performance a lot of what they say can be rembling and up in the air.

We have experienced top celebs from sport and entertainment say time and time again they have never experienced pressure like that which SCD exerts on them.

I don't think she 'wants out' at all !!!

I have seen her give interviews outside of SCD and she comes across as genuinely self-deprecating and apologetic. She has said several times that doing Strictly has 'changed her life' and how much she is loving it. She also has a great relationship with Robin.

Last night she knew she hadn't done the best quickstep and was so preparing herself for the worst....

I think that it is evident that her husband leaving her quite publicly earlier this year has dented her confidence...... but that Strictly is a great antidote! I would hate to see her go out tonight.

I agree but she needs to be more positive - hopefully Robin can sort that out - cos he looks a bit bewlidered by it!!

Patsy has no confidence - and Robin does a great job of getting her ready for each show. The rest is up to her... Maybe she doesn't feel she's that popular....

Maybe she would feel more confident if she let them do something with her hair .

I thought she sounded a little resigned to her fate - hopefully she just needs to learn that some people love her!

Thats four marriages , and this one so quickly-and yet she's outwardly such a great catch. And it was Holby she was in-which was a good move for her-I think its been left that she can go back if she ever wants to.
I actually sent in a few rare votes of my own for her this week and I hope she makes progress. It was clear she was relieved to get through.

I thought her hair was terrible last night and it made her dance seem more "skippy" because of the way it was swinging about!

Patsy seems to have a bit of perspective and humilty about her.

I find her attitude quite refreshing.

I didn't expect to like her either, but I do and especially after being in the audience last night you get to see how the contestants interact with their partners when they are not on camera and how they react to the audience. Patsy seemed really natural and clearly seems to get on really well with Robin from what I could see, they were talking and hugging each other alot. I definitely don't think she wants to go.

I really like Patsy too!! She seemed more comfortable with her Latin dance compared to her Ballroom dances so far...I loved her Salsa last week but I think she knew she hadn't danced her best last night...I'm loving her reactions to being safe though!!

I think she just doesn't feel as worthy to be there as some of the others and is genuinely surprised every time she's voted through.

Now Felicity on the other hand......there's a woman who really wants out!

I agree. I'd just love her to get more confidence in what she does.

Something a bit strange on the Results Show:
Upstairs after the first 4 were put through, Claudia was talking to Peter and Patsy was stroking his arm, then she said something and then it was as if she'd been caught talking out of turn but she was itching to be in the conversation.
Later, once the next 4 had had their verdicts, she was nowhere to be seen but the rest of the couples were there.
It made me think she'd been 'put out the classroom'

She was the same I remember on ITT last week (Thursday maybe?) when it was a 2 couple interview and no one else could get a word in.

Is it nerves, has she always been this hyper?

same here, i couldn't do it! but Patsy strikes me as needing a massive boost to her self esteem (also O/T i know but i think personally she is much prettier without all the eye make up!! but i suppose it is all for the cameras etc)

No, I think is the answer. She's being gracious and honest/modest following Goldie's exit who was a better dancer, and is basiclly saying that she realises that their are better dancers in the competition who deserve to stay over herself and if she goes before them so be it.

I've really warmed towards Patsy.I didn't think she'd be my cup of tea, but she comes across as lovely, natural and..terrified.Bless her heart.Hope she stays in until after AW,PS,GH, MW and FK .Am liking Robin too.......and he's English, which makes a change for the pro dancers

Imho she just thinks she's rubbish at ballroom, which is not entirely wide of the mark, and is beating herself up about it on camera. Here's hoping she gets a dance next week in which she can strut her stuff as in the salsa.

No, I think she is genuinely enjoying it, but not at all confident in ballroom (do think Robin made a mistake starting her out of hold with that sequence)

I rather like her and hope she sticks around for a few more weeks.

I think She is loving it, but just has no self esteem. Although she says ballroom isn't her thing which is fair enough, i kind of hope she has the tango this week, to show a different side of herself, as the salsa was bubbly, and the quickstep was bubbly and the charlston should be bubbly...
