So, it looks like most viewers came back to the programme. And on that basis, the format is unlikely to change.”

Annoyingly, the most entertaining way to learn the result is to watch she show. Therefore one must tune in even if we don't like the format.

At least it's only 30 mins now. Couldn't bear a 60+ minute epic like DWTS...

I miss the dance off.

Not for me. I prefered to read the spoiler thread and spend the 30 minutes when the results show was on watching a DVD with my husband and eating ice cream Much more entertaining.

I'm old fashioned. I like to watch the show and experience it the same way they did in the studio, and go through those emotions. So much more rewarding, IMHO. Hate all this spoiler nonsense.

Maybe, so on that bnasis we are likely to be stuck with this format for as long as the viewing figures hold up.

Don't give them ideas.

People in the studio watched it all on a Sat.

I'm happy about the absence of a dance off though ”

What Sid said. Oooh Sid said Sid said, that rolls pleasantly off the tongue.

I don't like the staggery business and I'd like to see more pro dances but I'm happy to be rid of the dance off.

I didn't watch the Results Show either, because of the same reason.

I wish I knew which weeks the Dance Troupe were performing, then I would watch the show just to see them. It is the only chance we may have to see some quality dancing this season.

The show lacks drama at the moment because there are too many couples and it is a little obvious who is going to be voted off. Honestly who was surprised when Paul Daniels went. The drama will pick up in a few weeks when the also rans have gone and fan favourites are under threat.

I normally don't read spoilers either but after watching the first results show I thought it would be the lesser of two evils.

I will be listening next week to see if the dance troupe is mentioned for the results show though I will probably just watch that bit only on iPlayer

I much prefer the results show broadcast on the Sunday; far too much to do on Saturday to watch two shows.
I don't care if it's live or recorded or if they refer to tonight, tomorrow, next Xmas or Armageddon Day.
I don't care what anyone is wearing.
I thought the two pro dances this week were brilliant and well worth tuning in for.
I thought it moved along seamlessly and the first couple in the bottom two didn't have to wait that long to find out who was with them.
And I, along with the other 9 million odd, don't look at the spoiler, so was actually shocked when Paul went, as I'd convinced myself he was safe! And having seen ITT tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if maybe it had been engineered that way - which wouldn't bother me one bit either. C'est la Vie.

I don't understand why they bothered setting up the dance troupe if they won't even be dancing every week! I want to see them every week, plus a 'normal' pro dance by those no longer in the competition. Is that too much to ask?
