She's going to play a Nightclub organiser. It's an Indie movie, but she has to start somewhere.
Someone involved in the film saw her doing some work at an awards show and approached her. Ims went for an audition and got the part. As she said, she had luck being in the right place at the right time.
Now that she and Ash have parts in up coming movies, with luck, one day some someone might cast both in the same film. Love to see that!
Anyway, it's nice to see them both now moving away from bb related stuff and getting work elsewhere.
Good luck to both

ps. Thanks to ofni for providing the link,

You don't need luck, just some cash and a paddling pool full of mud/jelly

That's good news, Dixon. Thanks for posting it.

I remember a lot of people being shocked at how good Imogen's acting was during bb7, when some of the HMs were acting out scenes from a reason I've now forgotten.

That was the night of the fake argument with Spiral and Scouse chat. Her best bit was with Spiral though.
I remember going out the room for a while and them coming back in seeing those two going at it. I wondered what the heck had happened in those few mins as it all looked so real. Spiral was good too.

I missed the very start of it as well. And then I was like "they've known each other for 5 years?!?!?! "

This brings back some good memories.

Did a clip of it ever exist online? It was pretty brilliant.

I remember Jenni TH being impressed as well. There were some good discussions back in those days!

Since she "lands a roll", I've been assuming some kind of action scene. She has been in training ...

If she lands a punch as well, I will be most pleased.

She's also auditioned for the new X-Men movie, out next year, which is obvioulsy going to be a multi-million dollar movie. I thought they'd finished that franchise, but apparently not.
Aiming big, but why not?

I remember reading sometime ago that Imogen was going to start taking acting lesssons, but wether she did or not i don't know. But as i said, she did have to audition for her part so she obviously did enough to impress to get the part.

ps. Just noticed that in the title of this thread i spelt Role with a double ll

I've already offered Imogen the chance to be my co-star in a film that I was thinking of making.

She hasn't got back to me yet!

Ah, but she's done that and now she wants to move her career forward, not be stuck in the past revisiting old rôles

Apparently the "roll" she has landed is not as a nightclub organizer but as a manager of a Greggs outlet.

Oh no I wasn't implying she didn't impress enough to get the part. I switched off after BB7 so missed a few years of BB news so didn't know if acting was something they'd both been working on for a while. Good luck to them both

It was good fun and she did play her part very well. But it's one thing to be impressive in an off the cuff bit of fun in the BB house, it's another thing entirely to do it on demand and under pressure to get it right in front of the camera with professionals looking at every move of your body and every twitch of your face.

Still, if that girl who plays Rosie in Coronation St can get a part in a top soap, then there is hope for everybody. She is THE worst actress i've ever seen! Shockingly bad!
