Who here actually picks up the phone and votes?
I have to confess I have never, ever voted in any way shape or form for any X-Factor contestant.
No-one I know votes (or admits to it??) So who are all these people voting? And if you do vote do you think your view is more valid than those who do not? |

I have over the years.
I have'nt voted for anyone this year, because I could'nt care less about any of them to be honest. I'm watching purely to laugh at, rather than with. |

I haven't ever voted, and I can't say that it has ever crossed my mind to vote.

I only vgote when I really want someone to get through on X Factor.
Its happened four times. For Shayne to win. For Leona to win. To save Diana in Week 6 when she messed up the song and was in "danger" Matt on Saturday (as I was out and watching round a mates house) The only one that was made from the home phone was Diana's one because my Dad allowed me to just the once because he agreed. My saying is "Don't complain or shout 'fix' if you haven't picked up the phone to vote" |

I haven't voted yet but I may do if it looks like a contestant that I like is in danger.

Yes. Part of the appeal is getting behind people you like, investing in and voting for them to stay, otherwise it's not as interesting, or pointless having a discussion about them. It's only something like 35p a vote. You don't have to go crazy like some lunatics do - One Direction supporters...

I don't vote. I did vote for Ruth Lorenzo, but that was a moment of weakness which I doubt will be repeated anytime soon.
Don't like the thought of making even more money for Simon Cowell |

I probably will vote, but it takes me a little time to get like some of them. I did'nt vote for Alex at first, but after the night she did the Christine Ag. track, that was it. Same with Ruth and JLS. |

Being Irish I never had the luxury, but I'd never have wanted to anyway... I threw Katie a vote the other night though.

Yeah, we've been banned from voting in Ireland for a while now. Though I do remember being slightly obsessed with Ray Quinn in S3 and voting for him quite a lot then when we could vote. I burn with shame admitting that
![]() I voted for Nicolo last week and I will vote if I think the act I like is in danger. |

I vote twice. Once for the one I want to win and one for the one that entertains me. Aiden and Wagner this week. Last week it was Aiden and Nico.

I always vote. I allow myself £5 a week to spend how I see fit.
This week, the lot went to John |

I've never voted. But I haven't ruled it out on principle or anything, I've just never cared enough about anyone on the show.
So in theory I could start voting at any point! |
