Yes that is a lovely vid, I love Mario's innocence, it was truly a magical adventure for him. Of all the hms it was Mario who showed real delight whenever BB introduced something or someone special. Some of the others looked world-weary and careworn by comparison, as if they'd been there, done it, got the t-shirt and written the book... On the debit side there's a very fine line between innocence and naivete and it can be a minefield out there for someone like Mario who follows his heart and doesn't have a crafty bone in his body.

Mario's enthusiasm and appreciation at having the opportunity to live through the BB experience was truly rather touching and a welcome breath of fresh air when contrasted with the couldn't-care-less attitude of some of the other hms wasn't it?

i like it in beginning of the series why everyone have to sing in the live audience and if they mess up the booed on stage.but when they reach the boot camp is anyone's game.so far i am loving this year's x factor.

I promise I won't keep harping on about the parrot. Fair enough if you're happy to let the money go to the charity but just so everyone's aware, according to Just Giving's rules if anyone DOES want a refund you are entitled to one. Mario was supposed to Email you once he'd cancelled asking you if you wanted a refund or not. Make sure you contact him if you do want your money back.

I have to admit I'm disappointed he hasn't explained what happened or apologised today (basic manners), but I won't say any more on the matter here.

I'm a bit surprised as well, but I imagine that he has realised that he made a mistake and perhaps doesn't want to to draw any further attention to it. I have no doubt that he will contact anybody who donated to check thier wishes.

I suppose that we all do things that with hindsight we may not have done, we're all human. Unfortunately in the case of ex BB housemates there are more people to notice them.

Anyway, lessons are there to be learned, and if Mario is forging ahead with a media or fashion career as seems to be the case, then I would think that someone to handle PR will be fairly high up on his agenda.

And yep Val, I hope that you, and everyone else, has a great weekend too.

As I said before, I also don't worry to much about the donation money, but it is true, that I really thought he would drop a message to those who had donated (which should not be to much of a fuss as it where only a handful of people) just to let them know why it was cancelled, and what about to happen with the money.

Nice to see a new face in the old molehole. Mario even posts in here sometime and has been very generous to his fans on here and Twitter. He's my fav hm from all the series.

Aargh I can't sleep tonight..

I know what you mean googoo, it's a lot quieter in here. I'll be honest as well and admit I do miss the time when everyone was here and you knew there would be someone to interact with and get the gossip from.

Years ago the most popular housemates would usually have moved onto thier own forums by this stage. I was quite surprised that there wasn't at least a JJJ forum set up, then I thought about it and realised nowadays communication is mostly done by Facebook and twitter. There are quite a few moleys who do chat with Mario on twitter now, and I suppose that it has taken things away from here a bit, but that's just the way most fandoms in forums goes, you won't change that.

I also think that there's not really that much news at the moment. Probably when things start to happen for Mario then there will be more to report. I hope so anyway .
