In view of previous thread about who was the best person never to have won I thought it would be interesting to see who people supported in previous series and if anyone's got a favourite this year.
I didn't really watch the first two series but liked all of the finalists in series three - with Zoe being my favourite by a nose from Colin just because I didn't really like Colin's rhumba (or the showdance for that matter).
I backed the winning horse in series four from day one pretty much mainly because I really liked Karen the year before and when I saw she had a good dancer I wanted her to win. The fact he was cute might have come into it too.
Loved Matt DA in series five (although Alesha was the worthy winner) and Austin in series six (although I did spend money trying to keep Jodie in and I liked Cherie too). Was willing Austin to do well before he even set foot on the dancefloor as loved his dry sense of humour and I've always liked Cherie anyway.
Last year my favourite emerged as Jade - I still think she was the only dancer whom was both brilliant and entertaining and the competition lost a lot when she was forced to withdraw. However I did think that entertainment deserved to triumph over talent that year although I won't have been gutted by Ricky W victory.
This year I'm firmly in Dr Pam's camp and I hope her trailblazing continues and enough people like her for her to get the votes when she needs them.
