Oh Thanks, if that is true I'll order another remote control, I gave the 3rd one to my O/H as thought maybe I could only have one control per box if I changed the the channel No.

BUT, when it's recording if I switch it on it will not switch on the picture.

The channel I want to watch comes up in the display window but it's just a blank screen?

anyone”

I found this happened to me. Now I switch on the Humax first and then switch on the Panny and always get a picture.

You see HDMI1 selected when you press AV once but you have to select another input then change back to HDMI1 before it will look again for a signal. I have owned a HDR and a Panny plasma for 2 years and this happens everytime we return home and the HDR is recording, but it is so simple to cure that I do not regard it as a problem.”

Yes that worked, thank god for that!

many thanks for your help

UPDATE

Well I'm starting to have difficulty switching on and showing a picture again when recording.

I press the 'AV' button but the menue does not always come up and when it does I put it on MDMi1 and press ok and nothing happens

It does take a lot of pressing the 'ON' button before it will show a picture

When I have this issue I select HDMI2 first and then I select HDMI1

No matter what I do, when the unit is recording (or about to), I cannot get a picture on the tv, despite trying the different order of tv on first or Humax on first. I know its post Xmas and hope the answer is not already lurking somewhere!
