Yes, the producers COULD put Craig as head judge, but then any credibility with the ballroom dance lovers will be totally lost. As I said above, his REAL knowledge of ballroom dances and the techniques is shaky, but he can talk the talk which convinces those who don't know a fleckerl from a lock step that he is an expert. That is why Len looks askance at him sometimes - because that look usually follows a load of twaddle from Craig
While the show still professes to be about ballroom dancing - the head judge does at least need to be qualified to comment properly on it (and I for one would rather see Craig there as the performance judge with Brunoo and Alesha being replaced with real ballroom dancers who have technical knowledge combined with personalities (like ... let me think.... Karen Hardy)
And I agree with Monkseal - he tosses out lots of technical terms which mean absolutely nothing to the celebrity being told them allwhich serve to show that HE thinks he knows it all.”
I don't reckon craig talks any twaddle at all. What Len says doesn't interest me, may interest you, I'm more artistic you on the other hand are more technical. At least Craig isn't like a rabbit caught in the headlights with judgements like Len is. Len was a right miserable pipsqueak on Saturday if you are asking me, rather than being professional he was stroppy when the dances didn't match his requirements. Surprised the producers and moderators in the BBC studio can't see it. Brucie ruins it by trying to paint him as the baddie. Remember Len can't be attatched to a studio, so he may retire. Some of the other forumers need to be a bit more patient with me on the forums as I've got a form of autism. It's not my fault I percieve things differently to most, it's just my genetic make-up. I'd better leave it at that now else I will become boring.
