I just made a somewhat shocking discovery going back and reading FXDUX's infamous "Chosen One" thread. I was happily reading the first page of that thread, when I came across the following (seemingly 100% right-on) post by one of our not-so-favorite posters:

It was one of the mafia started it but it lasted all of 10 minutes mostly us complaining about the mods letting the other stuff on other threads go but closing our thread. It was all resolved in the end.

I started it. It was called something like "why was the Danielle thread locked?" and it was just what Lemming described--a bunch of us complaining about being locked out of our thread. When the main thread was opened back up, the other thread was deleted.

That was a really weird day. I even got a warning for using the word "haters" to describe Dan's detractors when they were calling us much worse and getting away with it.

You got a warning for that? Seriously?

BIB: I think thats is what got to everyone that night, seriously unequal moderating from the mods there.

ETA: Reading back, how early did the chosen stuff start? Im reading posts from april talking about.

Wow, that sounds like an exciting 10 minutes. You early mafia sure fought some wars!

Apollonia: Baby D knows more about the gambling side than I do. I think FXDUX called himself a hedger rather than a gambler. He lost nerve and didn't win as much on Dan as he should have done. Maybe he lost faith in his conspiracy theory!

Some fought some tough battles, I barely ventured outside this thread unless to get spoilers but did take on the few haters who decided to come in here.

I think he was quite an erratic poster but suppose he got his money in the end.

How could anyone lose faith in Danielle? (Just check our posts on final night after 76 trombones )

ETA: Does Peeve still post on here or the forum? she made some great early posts on the thread

Peeve posted on the forum once or twice about a month or so ago. It was a long time since we'd heard from her. She sometimes responds to group messages on the Facebook group (like when I've warned people about fake Danielle profiles).

Speaking of the forum, it's nice that the thread here is doing so well, but let's not neglect the forum as well. I've posted a new video with an interview with Danielle, and there are some cool discussions and casting news that can be added to. Come check it out!
