Not a single flake. I would describe the conditions as Alpine. So clear and gorgeous. I have had to seek extra covers for my bed though!

Sounds like you both have nice weather, snow is lovely but it's a pity it hasn't come this time next month in time for Christmas. Tempted to put a sneaky bet on a white Christmas.

I love snow when I am not working. Walking through it feels like the world has been purified. I hate snow when I am working. Then I think of practical things like cancelled trains!

Thats the worst thing about snow when you have somewhere to go its annoying. Public transport isn't that great where I live so don't have that to worry about thankfully but my uncle just rang and said my car engine might have burst and they I need to check it

Last winter I was lucky. The trains kept running (I commute by train). Will I be so lucky this year? We will see. Snow is great for the kids when schools close, though I don't think mine ever did...

Tbh even if it doesn't snow I doubt the trains will keep running in london. They like striking too much! Another 24 hour strike starting tonight.

Worst for me was the January gale 2 or 3 years back. The train station closed and it felt like a war zone.
