Why no champions dance for Cola
Surely Chris and Ola deserve the chance to come back and dance as the champion. Does anyone know why he hasn't been asked. It as if they are trying to airbrush him from the memory
Chris and Ola deserve better than this - After all we did have to endure Lisa Snowdon who gatecrashed the final last year |

It is just so rude of them. Chris was a deserving champion. There is no excuse for it

I was just wondering this the other day. My friend said she thought they might have them in the Charleston last weekend, but obviously not.

Yeah - that would have been logical - who is for lodging a complaint with the PTB - especially as we had to suffer Lisa in the final last year

the previous year's champion usually dances in the final but Tom and camilla danced the first week last year because camilla was off to the Jungle and then GMTV , the the two runners up appearing in the final.
Therefore i'm not expecting to see team Cola - the People's champions until the final, although it would have been nice to see their Charleston as a show dance last week. |

It is just so rude- I hope they have the courtesy to invite them back - he is as much a champion as Jill, Ramps, Alesha and Tom

Why is everyone assuming Chris & Ola won't be doing a champion's dance when it's usually in the final?
![]() Last year it was only in the first show of the series because of special circumstances, ie, that Camilla wasn't going to be available on the final because she would have been in the jungle. |

Is there seriously no Champions Dance for Cola? Er, why?
Also I'm not happy that no one's mentioned that Ola is the champion in terms of the pros. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those sad cows who's going to bash Natalie because *gasp* she's competitve, but she got to say that she was last year's finalist whilst Ola's said nothing about being actual champion!! |

The logic for last year may have been so, but if there is a formula it would have helped us if this had been explained. The references to Ola and Chris have not been made at all, just a bit disappointing (IMO!).

I'm hoping they'll do a champions' dance later on in the seris - a foxtrot reprise in Blackpool or a Charleston on the semi-final (there are 2 shows that weekend) or final

I agree. The difference between you and me though is that I can see why they would want to.

For my part a final between Ricky and Ali would have sent me off to the pub. |

I agree that Ola and Chris are much more likely to dance in the final. It's the pro's jobs to show one week what we can expect to see danced the next.

Also while Cola's Charleston was fun, it had a certain style to it. The pros were able to show more variety in their routine. |
