Yep.

Aretha Franklin's version of 'Respect' is better than Otis Redding's.

And I love the Kate Bush original as well, but what the Futureheads did is just genius.

Just thought of a few more!

Delilah. The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (Tom Jones)
I think they give the song the drama and menace it deserves.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0fT9BHpImI

Because The Night. Patti Smith (Bruce Springsteen)
For many years I thought it was Patti's original.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px__SsVXX_0

Heard It Through The Grapevine. The Slits (Marvin Gaye)
Gotta love this version.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQxvo_9DEqY

Is This All There Is. PJ Harvey (Peggy Lee)
Strange song for a strange puppy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0ZUAorP0b4

Our Town. Kate Rusby. (Iris Dement)
A reminder of what Thatcher did to mining towns and villages in northern England.
