I'll add Denis Brown's version of The Long and Winding Road.

And the version of Jailhouse Rock in The Blues Brothers

Eric Clapton's version of 'Cocaine' isn't better than the original but it's as good.

Songs like "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" and "Whiskey in the Jar" should have been left with Chuck Berry and Thin Lizzy.

And "It's a Man's World" could only be sung by the late, great James Brown.

I think Pixie's recent cover of Forget you is better the overated and undeserved number 1 version by Cee Lo.

Same for her Use somebody version as well.
