I'll give her a vote - I'd like to see her get a fair crack at the title though I'm not convinced that Jared has what it takes.
Darren B and Tina could have been real contenders. |

I am looking forward to see what she does. I hope Jared choreographs a good dance for her that shows off her skills.

Good that she'll be back - hope they have enough time to train for the weekend.

Let's be honest she'd have a better shot at winning with Anne Widdecombe as her pro partner. Jared seems like a lovely guy but he doesn't have the skills (or he hasn't shown them) to be on the show

I agree, I think she would have a better shot at winning with Darren.
It's not Jareds fault that Darren et al were axed |

I still don't get this assumption. Tina looked pretty poor in the launch show group dance. Since being paired with Jared she's come on leaps and bounds and their rumba training footage looked fantastic (especially for a wednesday).

I agree, I feel sorry for Jared. He deserves a chance, Len asked for the foxtrot to be better than the cha cha from him and it was. The rumba also looked good, I get people are upset about Darren, Matthew, Lilia etc. but there's nothing that can be done it's not Jared's fault or problem.

Good news about Tina.
I like Jared. He must have the credentials or he wouldn't be there. ![]()

It's not Jareds fault that Darren et al were axed I will admit I am a big fan of Darren so my opinion is biased but even if I wasn't I can honestly say I don't think Jared has what it takes. However, If they stay in some miracle might happen and I may change my mind but for now this is how I see it. |

It's not Jareds fault that Darren et al were axed The producers obviously think bringing in new boys and girls will keep the show interesting, but it doesn't always work that way. Although I liked Hayley she failed to capture the wider audience and as a result lasted only one season - I think Jared's fate might be the same. |

I'm not saying that everyone who criticises Jared blames him for the exit of the others (sorry if it came across that way) although there are many posters on DS that do. I agree that the Cha cha choreography wasn't great but he came back with a much improved effort in the foxtrot and what looked like a great rumba and as we've had about half a min of training footage for the first 2 dances I just feel it's a little early to judge him as a teacher. If he and Tina were not to improve after a few weeks then I would be criticising too, I just want to give him (plus Robin and Artem) a decent chance to show us what they're made of.
Josar, I did think you were blaming him for Darrens exit as I know how much you love Darren and Lilia (I was curvygirl of the FFs on the BBC boards and had many a pie throwing match with yourself, Cherry and Lilias stiletto) I apologise for thinking it Ignazio, I liked Hayley too and was disapointed that she wasn't brought back |

I'm just not impressed with him yet and as a Darren fan I can't help thinking what progress Tina could have made with him. If they turn out to be an amazing partnership I will take everything back !

From what I saw of their practice session I probably would have rather liked their rumba. It look rather affectionate and genuine.

Aw, I'm so pleased for the both (and more selfishly, for me
). I think Tina and Jared both deserve at least a couple of weeks more inthe competition to prove themselves. Also I'm glad they've got the Charleston rather than the tango, as Jared looked to really suit that dance on Saturday/ Sunday and Tina's clearly happier out of ballroom hold. It's a shame they probably won't get to perform their rumba though as from the training footage it did look as though that would have been another step up for Tina (plus frankly there weren't exactly a huge number of reasonably good rumbas on Saturday, I'd have appreciated one more).

She will probabaly get more votes out of sympathy this weekend for the week she missed. Glad she is back and won't have to withdraw from the competition. BTW what dance is she doing this weekend?

[/QUOTHappy for Tina (and Jared) but I do find her the least engaging of the girls. Everyone tends to jump all over Jared but maybe he would have had more fun with, say, Patsy! |

Happy they are back to dance this weekend
.As for the partnership maybe its just me but I think the problem might be that they both come over as quite shy. I didn't like Jareds Chacha but I think the Foxtrot was an improvement and as others have said the Rumba looked really good. I think Jared is trying to find his feet at the same time not wanting to say something or do something wrong. I do think Tina would have been seen in a better light personality wise with Darren or Vincent as they are very confident pros who always bring the best out of their partners. But on the other hand I think maybe if Jared had a less shy and quiet celeb we might have seen a different side to him earlier on. As it is I think they'll need a few weeks to really sparkle but think they both have what it takes to do it. Might not win the competition but I can see them having some good dances down the line. |

I have a feeling Jared will choreograph a good Charleston. Not sure how mentally or physically prepared Tina will be after the CP. Surely she can't be fully recoverd so soon. Anyway we should be more informed after their stint on ITT tomorrow.
