There are others I would vote off before Michelle.

Actually I think I'd vote Gavin off first. But it would save a lot of fannying about it we voted people off rather than on, don't you think CC?

It would spoil the show for me. I like to vote in a positive not a negative way. Sort of showing my support for who I like best.

I would find this a very negative approach and too much like Big Brother for my liking.

I think a celeb with a fragile ego should be advised not to touch Strictly with a bargepole.

I think the more entertaining couples would stay in longer this way actually - rather a positive development. At the moment if a celebrity is in the middle of the leaderboard they are more likely to go than anyone.

I'm not saying it's a good idea, but I do think it would encourage more voters. For example, there are four or five contestants so far that would be worthy winners..in my opinion. I have no particular favourite (yet) so have not voted..I just take it for granted they will be "safe".
On the other hand, I'm always fairly certain who would get my vote to be booted out every week.

Kristina Rihanoff has said Kara is not very emotional and it might affect her performance? http://strictly-come-dancing.ivillag...s-emotion.html

Part of me can't help but wonder if she's a little jealous of the attention Kara's receiving. Have you noticed Kristina's been 'inconveniently' papped in her bikini lately?...

As much as there are contestants that I would love to vote off the show, I much prefer voting for people, as I think voting against people would lead to an even greater bias towards personality over dancing.

it's more fun voting on who you want to stay in.

The GBP always springs a few surprises

Having just read what Kristina said about Kara, I can't detect any jealousy. It seems that she really liked her performance, admired the cartwheel, and just mentioned that Kara is a lot shyer than people probably think, which means she has to work a lot harder than we think. That's how I read it..

With regards to the thread title, I'm pleased we cannot vote for our least favourite. I enjoy the fact that it is positive voting, it makes it a bit more exciting and I don't like the Big Brother format anyway.

She hasn't said that Kara's not very emotional full stop, she's said that she's very shy and finds it hard to show that emotion on the dancefloor, which is a completely different thing.

Why on earth would Kristina be jealous (and what do the paparazzi shots have to do with it at all - they were from during the pro tour!), she's a successful woman in her own right and clearly from that blog gets on very well with Kara!

Please stop stirring up trouble for the sake of it, it's irrelevant to this thread and it's really just pointless!
