Text Messages via Orange.co.uk
I have just discovered that I can send 30 free text messages a month from Orange.co.uk!
I am now set up and have tested the account by sendinga text message to myself and it works! But can anyone tell me can I send messages to those short text numbers for example Sky News say you can text them on 84501 can I use the Orange website to text them on that number? ----EDIT 1---- In my inbox the text messsage I sent is shown to be from from 1003 is there a way of changing this so that my number appears? I think the Sky News text message will be a premium rate and I would doubt that they would be allowed. No harm in trying I guess.
You cant change the number im afraid. Its a limitation of the web based service. |

I just used Sky News as an example but what about other short numbers in general, hey what about The Hits they have a scrolling text service don't they.
