Sorry but everytime I start to watch ITT I watch how the egg heads win and the other time don't!! Anyone can explain?!

Yep, they usually win. I end up watching by default. I like Daphne and Judith, but the blokes do my head.

One team had just the team captain in the final and they managed to win £70,000 (I think, it might have been less).

I watch only to see if CJ gets a question wrong , Then my day is made .

That and watching Daphne nod wisely when she knows the answer to some one elses question and make sure we all know she knew it .And watch to see if her teeth fall out on the desk .They are seriousely to big for her .

I absolutely love when Daphne nods along with an answer from CJ and then when told its wrong she changes the nod into a shake from side to side .... ......... A pantomime .

I think it was Phil Tuffnell who let out the fact that Judith sits on a cushion with a big blanket over her legs when in the 'isolation suite' (which I understood would be scarcely big enough to house Hammy's pencil collection) as it's absolutely freezing in there *brrrr-shiver icon*.

I'm always sooooo happy when they lose. (Which is rarely!) I only ever see that couple of minutes before ITT - I couldn't watch the whole programme!

Dermot irritates the hell out of me when, after an Eggheads win, he always says they've done "What comes naturally," or "Who can beat them?"

I've only watched once this series though and was wondering who those new people were on the Eggheads team? I'm not keen on them.

CJ is nowhere near as good as Chris, Daphne or Kevin. Barry's okay and but I haven't really watched Pat (although he is ranked second only to Kevin as the strongest quizzer in the UK (Kevin Ashman is easily the best imho).

I used to watch regularly, but not for a while now. I don't like watching repeats, so I lost track.

To answer the OP's question, according to Wiki, the Eggheads have only been beaten 58 times and there have been almost 750 episodes. Pretty good record imho.

I think CJ is the chav representative.

Someone last year likened Daphne to Blofeld in the James Bond films - stroking a white Persian cat and with eyes of steel hovering over the annihilate button under the desk.

How very dare you! CJ such a wannabe intellectual. A good shampoo to wash that grease out of his hair wouldn't go amiss - not to mention an appointment with a decent hairdresser to address those long greasy locks. Someone should tell him that a clean, well groomed head of hair is de rigeur in the society to which he aspires.

SCD should send a team to challenge the Eggheads. Claudia should be team captain and not play a head-head. But who for music, geography, art & literature, science. Len would have to do food & drink as he's an expert on pickled walnuts!!

Those are my two least favourites as well - and the faces they pull when they know the answers and the one in the `box` gets it wrong Plus they are the two who seem to take it all so seriously and act as if it`s their own money they`re giving away if they lose !!

The two newest ones are the second most irritating (is it me or does that Barry look like a perv?) behind CJ, who is one of the all-time most annoying people in the universe and not nearly as clever as he thinks he is
