Loona123 you claim to be an ex colleague of Paloma's. Six hours earlier you clamed to be working on the set.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...1372329&page=2 message #39

So which is it? Or neither?
Hehe I think reality Tv stars don't realise how much time we spend on these forums and don't quite grasp we dissect threads.

Shame forums don't have editing suites eh?

But you can't prove that she was consciously lying, as opposed to forgetting what she'd said, so she can get out of that!
Thats true, however when some one asks you a question, and then they ask the same question again. You know they didnt like your first answer. She would have been better of replying I cant remember rather than flat out lie.

To be honest, Paloma knows she lied...she isnt that forgetful.

Since Loona you seem to know what goes on behind the scenes. Can you tell me something. Why should an inventor of a spade or shower head not be able to walk himself into B & Q. Or the babyglo into the kids store. Why must he need an apprentice on the show to do it for him. I have been in business and have walked myself into Harrods and Selfridges and recieved orders. Its not that difficult at all. The buyer there is on the shop floor. Who pays who, the program for the product or the inventor for the exposure.

I always assumed mutual back scratching.

Quite - a free plug on the BBC thats even better than Dragons Den as you don't have to come up with an excuse to not have a Dragon take 90% of your profit and the soul of your first born.

She may have lied; I just point out it's not certain whether it was a lie or a memory lapse.

And as I've said, I see nothing wrong if it was a lie. Society doesn't work with too much truth. In those circumstances I'd have lied, and I think 99% of people would have too.

You talk as though it is only "the little people" who go on forums etc., and even more risibly, as if "management executives" are a cut above. As e this shows keeps demonstrating, they really are nothing special. Many well known artists read and participate on forums because they want to know what is being said about them, so I fully expect some minor reality show participants to do the same.

Remember Sada popping up on the BB forum?

Get over yourself, Lord Alan himself posts on here. And 'apprenti' isn't a word...well not an English one anyway.

The problem with lying, is you have to have one damn good memory. Make a slip, and everything you say then becomes suspect. Sucessful business is about reputation, screw that, even once, and the damage is too great for any amount of PR or TV exposure to remedy completely. Eh Alan?

A long time ago, and he didn't like the feedback he invited and then got, and ran away.

Simon Smith (S4) did post on another forum. Was well received as he did under his own name and wasn't bigging up himself at all. He stopped due to (reading between the lines) Talkback said stop this now. Pity, but fair enough. He showed himself as an honest guy, but he's got a life and is doing well I understand. Good for him. Went out a bit too early IMHO.

Quite a few of them did, in the good old days. Tuan and Karen did from s2, for example.

It's interesting to come back to this thread now she's been fired. In You're Fired, they gave the impression she was a near-perfect candidate who lapsed momentarily in the boardroom. Not my view at all, and the studio audience didn't agree either.

She only got 60% of the audience saying she should have been fired, the rest held up 'hired' cards.

Not bad for someone who was apparently disliked.

Err, it was a sea of red out there She was a bully and a liar. And when she informed Lord Sugar that she shouldn't even be in the boardroom, we knew it was only a matter of time

She played her hand well though when it came to You're Fired, I'll give her that. You would have thought it was Mother Theresa if it wasn't for that lovely dress

No it wasn't. Dara even said himself it was 60/40 to the fired's. I remember it well because it didn't exactly demonstrate any major dislike for her.

Now Alex had a sea of red I'll grant you that.

It's still on iPlayer. Dara says 60:40 but he's being generous. It's more like 75:25.

It's hard to assess the cards with much accuracy unless it's absolutely overwhelming (as with Alex). I'd have said a bit more than 60 for fired with Paloma, but not as much as 75. Maybe 65:35

Well she quite rightly got her marching orders before Alex...which'll probably sting her forever!
