Hi all
My Humax will not open from standby with the remote. I have to switch off at the wall and then switch back on and all is well. Any cure for this, please?

I had a similar problem with my HDR Fox T2. Remote had no effect and I could only put in standby or bring it from standby by pressing the button on the box.

I sorted by removing the batteries from the remote and putting them back a minute or so later. All is now well.

It appeared that the remote had somehow got it's codes in a twist.

I think you'll find you pressed one of the white buttons on the remote. Next time try pressing the left hand white button to put it back in Humax mode and then it should work again.

I also have had to reboot the remote for my HDFOXT2 on one occasion - I thought I'd done the usual trick of accidentally pressing the DVD button, but no, it did need a stop/start with the batteries. I posted it on one of the forums, but I don't think anyone believed me!

Not in my case I hadn't. It was the first thing I tried but it didn't work. Had to remove the batteries to fix it.

What model of Humax is it?
