You were not to know Gomezz that my wife has mentioned regularly to me that she is Faultless ..for over 50 years now..
Hence ..as I mentioned your comment to my wife you must now assume that your card has been well and truly Marked my man by the W.I Branches thru the UK..Watch yourself when next out shopping
However a technical element possibly now surfaces..We were in 'Chase Play' from the MEDIA mode and in fact the prog had been listed for Series recording for nearly 4 months..
I wonder if the Sub-Title Faults now complained of only relate to long established prog recordings and not those done since the update..?

You may have been recording it but still watching the live version time-slipped.

Did not simply pressing the sub button on the remote get rid.

Afaik the bug has only ever affected time shifted playback.

I never knew that there was a 'Sub' button per se ..until you now mention it Graham .In fact..
i now see that i have only ever used TWO out of the TWELVE little buttons at the bottom of the Remote..
Who does in normal viewing use them?
However.. as Janet and the neighbours acclaim the Surround Sound on the Beeb is so wonderful on our well set up Panny Home Cinema..
[ we even heard during SCD.. a chap say quite clearly.. "Rubbish" ;last week from behind the settee..]
that for realism we only have the Rear wall behind the TV dimly lit..
I am waiting for 2 cataract operations so the Bi focals are not all that good at the best of times..
And..if it helps analysis.. it was the first time that we had watched any of the 20 media recordings of SCD as Janet had missed the start by some 5 minutes..so definitely Chase Play and we have never seen the Sub-Titles at all this year..until then..
