Please recommend a phone for me
I'm looking to buy a new pay as you go mobile phone. I want something that's easy to use, with a big screen. I'll mostly use it for texting. Nothing as expensive as an iphone. If it's too complicated it will end up staying in the box as I know I won't be bothered trying to find my way around it.
![]() I'd be really grateful if you could recommend one you already have. Don't want to get it back from the shop then find all kinds of things I don't like about it. Thanks.

![]() For a cheaper option I'd recommend an older model LG VIEWTY. Big screen, good camera and nice price! |

I would recommend Nokia because they are simple, well priced and very easy to use and I think that they look great.
I have the Nokia 6303 Classic in silver on Tesco Mobile which I brought from Tesco Home Plus store in Chelmsford in March this year and it is the best phone that I have ever had. The spec is amazing for the price which was £79.99 on PAYG. My god father also has the same phone but he has the black version on contract with O2. It does not have a touch screen but I did not want a phone that had a touch screen because all I wanted was a simple and easy to use phone that has a good spec and looked nice but was not to expensive and is on PAYG. This phone has a great monkey theme and screen saver and when you put the phone on charge a claw appears with a banner on it and the monkey looks up and the banner drops and he eats it which is very funny to watch. My god father also loves this and it was one of the things that attracted him to this phone as well as being very simple and easy to use. Also if you want a great network for PAYG then I would recommend Tesco Mobile. I have been on Tesco Mobile for a couple of years now and have had no problems with them at all and there coverage is excellent. Also Tesco Mobile runs of the O2 network. Here is some links that will give you more information about the Nokia 6303 Classic and about the Tesco Mobile network: http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products...a-6303-classic http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sourc...d5fad11dc0034f http://www.play.com/Search.html?sear...searchsource=0 http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/homepage.aspx?page=3 I brought a black leather case for mine so that it does not get scratched and I would highly recommend that you do the same thing as it is so nice to have a phone that does not have any scratches on it. Also I think that Tesco Mobile have now stopped selling the Nokia 6303 Classic so try and get on sim free/unlocked and then just buy a Tesco Mobile sim card which is very cheep to buy as they are a great network and cannot recommend them highly enough. |
