The worst thing about this weeks' show was the beginning. Over half an hour going over previous performances -:yawn::yawn:
Brandy & Maks Brandy really upped her game this week; her QS was FAB-U-LOUS!! Played into the character of "Friends" theme really well, and yet remained an excellent & "real" quickstep
Florence & Corky Corky is an idiot. Florence has the ability to dance well, and could have danced a real tango given half the chance, but he turned it into something silly and it didn't work.
Kurt & Anna great quickstep routine, and well performed, but posture and footwork were poor.
Audrina & Tony Beautiful rumba routine, technically very good, but cold.
I'm a little frustrated with acting celebs (as opposed to sportsfolk) who moan they are embarrassed or whatever about getting up-close and personal with the rumba - It's an act - so get over it and ACT!
Kyle & Lacey This has to be one of the worst so-called foxtrots ever. To be fair to Lyle, he could only do what he had been told to do, and he did so with conviction. When he and Lacey were in hold it was difficult to tell which was the celeb and which the pro dancer. Lacey's posture was appalling ... bum in, girl, shoulders back - not the other way round. And she danced in front of Kyle instead of to his right, which made it harder for Kyle to move. The rest of the routine was fine - had it been intended as a disco-type, because foxtrot it wasn't. Even Len's 5 was over generous.
Rick & Cheryl Very tasteful; not the best rumba by any standards, but not a bad effort,
Bristol & Mark She can try and perform or she can try and dance, she clearly can't do both at the same time! Poor footwork, poor co-ordination, weak legs and feet - but she did try and perform.
Jennifer & Derek Very entertaining and well performed, but I would have liked to have sen a lot more foxtrot. Not their best dance, but still one of the best on the night.
Sorry if I've sounded rather negative, but I didn't think this was one of the better dwts shows.
