Hello, I have owned BEKO 32wlz530hid LCD TV for over 2 years now. Just in the last few days I am unable to increase the volume past number 22, can decrease and mute the volume.
Nor am I able to access the "Restore factory defaults menu" or access the setup menu (Greyed out) Any help please?? |

Possibly it's memory corruption?, and might have been caused by faulty capacitors in the PSU (common in cheaper sets). It probably needs technical ability, and the exact details, to restore it, and possibly it might need the memory chip (EEPROM) replacing?.

I take it I am best to get a reputable tv repair man in?? Do you think it would be expensive to repair?? |

As well as what others have said it could have gone into "hotel mode" either on its own through spikes in the power supply or by user intervention , BUT without service back up / service knowledge you may be up the creak .
Sell it on ebay with declared fault and get a Pana / Sony ![]() Ian |

Accessing the installer menu on Bekos requires either a special remote control, or, I understand some philips remotes will work!
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=188157 I've got a beko tv, the instsaller menu is avialable via my old philips vcr remote! |

Thanks all. The "Hotel Mode" would sound as though whats happened. The power tripped a few nights ago and the tv was on. It has been like this since that night.
Bugger!! Just need to get into the service screens and get some instructions. Will try the Asda remote. |

Bugger!! Just need to get into the service screens and get some instructions. Will try the Asda remote. Menu, 9301..option 1 turn hotel mode to NAVAIL. All that for such a simple fix!! |
