Wouldn't miss the Shilton or Gavin...two personality free zones.

As much as Michelle does my head in, I suppose with Ian she might just go under the wire into next week.

I think Peter will go this week,if not a shock elimination!

I suppose that depends on whether those for whom the judges are just saying what we're thinking outnumber those who think Ann is adorable and deserves to stay in because she's so funny.

I'm wondering/ hoping that the use of the high wire is an act of desperation on behalf of the producers because Ann isn't proving quite the popular as they'd hoped.

He's got bags more personality that either Matt or Scott he's just not as comfortable in front of the cameras as they are.

Agree, i'd much rather hear Gavins dry, understated wit than "i'm doing it for my dead/live* nan", "i'm on such a journey", "it's an emotional rollercoaster"

I have said elsewhere that I think the next 4 weeks will see us say goodbye to Felicity, Michelle, Patsy and Peter in no particular order.

I think that the nature of the Charleston is very much a crowd-friendly number, securing the fate of its celeb if they give it a good go. So this means Patsy and Peter will be safe.

Equally, Michelle is boosted by Ian. They seem to be getting on very well in training and I have a feeling the judges may mark her highly tonight, even saying the 'j' word. Plus Ian has a big following and people will be happy to see him back.

That leaves Felicity. Felicity does nothing for me: I find her rather needy and sickly sweet. Though her advantage is the huge fan-base she amassed in her heyday (so many people state her as their first crush). I wouldn't see this as a shock but could see the tabloids reporting it as such.

I have to agree.......I think he is hilarious......loved the bit on ITT when he said he watches the rehearsals thinking the others are all going to be rubbish Hoping the Tango is his dance......has to be really.

Got to say, I have warmed to him a lot seeing him on 71 Degrees North

Oh when oh when will the "dance" people get their heads around the fact that this is an E N T E R T A I N M E N T show and about as far removed from a serious dance competition as could possibly be.

Ann Widdicombe ENTERTAINS a lot of people - these people like it they pick up the 'phone and they vote - "simples"

We live in free country and people can vote for who they like. I seriously thought that by now all these years down the line that people would have got the hang of how it works - if you entertain and amuse and are popular you get the votes and lets face it Ann certainly entertains and amuses and Anton is very popular.

Get a grip you don't like her (or someone else) then you don't vote - you vote for who you want and if they get the most votes they stay.

I loathe and detest David Cameron and co and therefore didn't vote for them - but other people did and they are "in" - lifes tough but its they way it goes.

Just appreciate the joy that is having SCD back on TV again and be thankful we have something other than that x factor dross to while away Saturday evenings

Rant over - off to put wine on chill for lata

Fair points - except The X Factor ENTERTAINS a lot of people too.

By the same principle people can also criticise and take the piss out of whoever they want, too

The thing about Ann though Tango is that I don't find her in anyway entertaining, I may not have been Chris' greatest fan last year but I could still see what others saw in him and why they wanted to throw votes his way.

I just honestly can't see how anyone could call watching Ann being dragged round the dance floor by Anton week after week entertaining

The producers seem to think that by telling us each week that she's funny they'll make it so, but it just feels like they are manipulating the viewers and trying to recreate John Sargeant rather than letting things develop naturally (well as naturally as they can on this kind of show).

I think it's her comebacks to the judges and to Tess that people may be voting for aside from the 'dancing.'

I totally agree - but it is the constant "moaning" about it being a dance competition the really p***** me off
- but pleeeeeease all you "dance" people quit going on and on and on that it should all be about the "dancing" - it never has and never will be "just dance" that was what I was trying to get across

But they're not even funny, she finds a line on Monday, it's rarely funny, then by the time I hear it for the 99th time on Saturday I just want to shoot myself in the head so I don't have to listen to her.

I admit I do like to see some good dancing and am odd in that I can find that in itself entertaining, but I can also appreciate that a contestants personality has a large impact on their popularity. My gripe about Ann as well as being a rubbish dancer, she's also rubbish entertainment.

You seriously think that it's the people who want to watch good dancing that are the ones with issues?

What's wrong with wanting to be entertained and see good dancing? The two are not mutually exclusive.

Peter. But I think it's going to be a shocker this week, so I'm going to say Patsy or Felicity.

Peter would be the obvious choice...but unless Ian can do something with Michelle so she ends up with a higher judges score I think it could be her

I think we are in for a shock tonight and something tells me that unless little Tina pulls a rabbit out of her hat and blows everyone away, it'll be her in the firing line.

It's an entertainment show about ... wait for it ... D A N C I N G. So surely that should play a part, yes? Otherwise, what is it about the show you like? While I agree that it isn't as serious as a real dancing competition, I'm pretty sure that the people doing the bloody dancing take it that seriously. So shouldn't they be rewarded for being good and dismissed for being bad? Or should we all just pick someone we fancy and stick with them disregarding talent or entertainment? I can understand it becoming an issue when people genuinely disagree about who the best dancer is (because it really is totally subjective) because at least then it's still judging it on the dance at the end of the day. What I will never understand is people who watch this show and don't even pretend to base their decision on the dancing. I'm not trying to tell you who to vote for, how can I? I'm not the boss but guess what, neither are you and while I can't control people wanting to turn this into a popularity contest, you in turn can't stop me from wanting the best dancer to win. Because as far as I know, this show isn't called Strictly Come Have A Laugh And Vote For Me If You Think I'm Cool.

I would imagine they have spent a fair amount of money to get Michelle, and she is the most high-profile contestant. I really don't think they will want her to go out so early, so I think they will be much more positive towards her in their comments (and marks) tonight.

Agreed, she looks a lot better to. I'll be very surprised if Michelle is bottom two this week, I think she's safe.

I'm with you Daisy - I think it's a great track to Tango to

Love the Adamski one Ian has chosen for his Tango with Michelle as well.
