Nah, it's not that simple. People might just kind-of-almost-like it because they heard it once on the radio it and still buy it, usually on iTunes or some other download service. Music is more throwaway than ever before.
Dirtee disco actually went out the chart really quick despite being number 1. It was out the top 40 within like 5 weeks so it don't think it was a good seller.
I don't like Dizzee Rascal at all but I'll admit some of his songs are catchy and not bad to listen to - 'Bonkers' is an OK tracks IMO and it still seems to be pretty popular over a year after it came out. 'Dirtee Cash' is terrible though!!!
