CD of classical music played with modern instruments & style - any ideas?
Hi everyone, a friend told me about a piece of music they heard on Radio 2 several months ago, it was a classical piece familiar to them but played on modern instruments and in a modern style. apparently it was from a CD album... i'd like to track down the CD that the track was from but I have pretty much no clues, only what i've already written here.
any ideas of what the CD could have been? |

There was a band called SKY in the 80s who recorded a lot of classical tunes in a modern style. A lot of prog rock groups in the 70s also did.
