Bizarre BBC Live Rewind/Play issue

This week on BBC 1 breakfast a couple of times and on yesterday's 10pm news after rewinding and playing back live TV transcribed dialogue was displayed prominently on screen. In fact, I just checked now and it happens at any time on BBC 1. Other channels are fine.This is on the Humax btw. What's going on?

Subtitles perhaps ??? two fact here - one is that 100% of BBC is subtitled the other live/real time subtitling is a near continous stream (unlike prepared subtitles) so that you may be getting a burst of subtitles before the box has time to turn them off ??

Just an idea
