Unlocking handset
Hi, I'm getting my phone unlocked so I can use different sim's in it. When I get my unlock code will that wipe any data/apps currently on the phone or is it independent of all that?
Thanks. |

well it depends on the phone and how it is unlocked. but not generally no.
if it is unlocked officially it usually just involves typing in a code which will do nothing. if it is being unlocked unofficially then it may involve anything. |

Unlocking the phone will just remove the network restriction and won't delete the things on the phone.
