Louis and Harry seem the closest but they all seem pretty close. Zain and Harry also seem pretty close - they always seem to be having their own little unspoken jokes and Zain was very sweet when talking about how Harry gets sick; he sounded quite upset about it. I think he also see's Harry as a little brother to look after.
I reckon if they had met outside of the xfactor Harry, Zain and Louis probably would have been mates in the "real world" too. Not to say they don't like Liam or Naill just that those two probably would have hung out in different circles. If you think about it in terms of school groups those Harry, Zain and louis would be the cool, popular lads who liked to mess around. You know the ones the teachers have to tell off but kind of like having in class because they liven things up. The group all the girls fancy.
I reckon Naill would be in that group that mess around but are probably slightly less cool but make people laugh and get into trouble a lot. The group that spends most of school trying and failing to impress the girls. I reckon Liam would be in the studious group that worked hard and impressed the teachers and was kind of the alternative to the obvious school heartthrobs so had the girls who liked to think of themselves as "against the grain" fancy them.
