Jimi is being unfairly marked

Have been shocked at the low marks that Jimi and Flavia have been getting in recent weeks. There is no way that Jimi was worse than Felicity and Patsy this week, and worse still voters will forget about him as he performed first.

Jimi is at great risk this week, undeservedly so.

PS... Hasn't Jimi already performed first once this season? Shouldn't everyone get to perform first before others find themselves in that situation for a second week?

Totally agree with you, can't believe he's third from bottom on the leaderboard tonight! It's so unfair the judges are insane this series. Yes Jimi may not have been perfect, but he definitely had the second best charleston of the night after Matts.

I totally agree
he does not deserve to be that low down on the leaderboard-and only one point higher than peter from alesha, what's that about?!

I agree, too. I thought it was by far the best of the night, except possibly for Matt, who I missed (sadly). There's no way to justify felicity, Tina or Patsy especially getting a higher mark than him.

Agreed...he could end up in the bottom two as a result (with Peter)

I actually thought Jimi was awful. Ive also started to really dislike him this week.

I did think the standard was generally high though.

I agree somewhat. I think being first out does no-one any favours – there's nothing to compare the dance to. Whilst his dance wasn't the best of the night, I couldn't help but think that there was a certain amount of 'genuine-ness'; a natural, non contrived, enjoyment that just shone through.

Whilst Jimi is my firm favourite, I try to be objective, but I thought he was hard done by tonight - my brother thought so too and he doesn't have favourites or even really watch Strictly much but it was on in the background during dinner!

I bet Jimi goes home tonight

I thought I would love Jimi (and Flavia is a favourite of mine) but I just don't like the way he dances. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I so want to like him and I have have voted for him in previous weeks but this week was not good at all.

I thought Jimi suffered for going first tonight,
I've sent a vote his way as I hope he doesn't go home.

Ann got seven from Len. Anyone who got less than eight from Len was undermarked.

Totally undermarked and also some undeserved criticism too. I know all the couples are working very hard but it must be so disheartening to be trying your best and giving your all, to be so harshly and unjustly criticised.

That was just so wrong...it must make the ones who are desperately trying to put on a good performance wonder why they are bothering at all.

It probably won't do him any harm.* People are more likely to pick up the phone for lower-mid-table undermarked, than upper-mid-table overmarked.

Shocking score for Jimi and Flavia. Even the usually reliable Craigs scoring was shaky tonight. Hope Flavias popularity sees them through. Having defended Alesha in the past I am gradually going off her as a judge - giving Jimi one point more than Peter is verging on insane.

Yes, the judges really laid into Jimi. Others who weren't so good got plenty more positive feedback and encouragement.

They annihilated the guy!

I've come on the board for the first time this series specifically because I thought that Jimi's marks and comments were unfair compared with the praise lavished on some of the others whose Charlestons were no better.

They suffered by being out first I think.......I dont think they deserved to be lower than Tina or Patsy but they were not as good as Kara and Matt (even though I cant stand him I have to admit it was a good routine)

That's what I thought, bang in the middle.

Every time JImi gets comments from the judges i think 'what were you watching'.

I find this every week with Jimi, Sid. I don't know what they have against him. Perhaps they feel he is strong enough to take the criticism and they suck up to the weaker ones.

think they did suffer being first out - routine had too much in it. Liked Tina's better but thought they were both better than Kara's - very ordinary.

My instant reaction to Jimi's dance this evening was "Wow, what fun!", and then I heard the judges comments, then their scores, and wondered what in the world was going on. Then as less competent dances came and left with greater scores, I was astounded.

This wasn't just the effect of going first.

I would ask the judges to watch Jimi's dance alongside the other dances and rethink their marking of Jimi.

It's not the first week that Jimi's marks have seemed very low compared to what we saw on screen.

The marks were all over the show tonight, the only dances I can say I truly enjoyed were Kara's, Scott's, and Jimi's.

Definitely undermarked.
