The tango is a serious dance, most of them dance with the same expressions, they are the way they are.

People just seem to have taken a dislike to him without any real reason and are pooh poohing him off the back of that. Pamela was given 9's last week and this week and it wasn;t worthy of that high a mark at all.

I feel that this week the judges' are firming their opinions of who they like and who they don't, with the result that their favourites will now be marked up and the rest marked down.

Pamela is clearly "in" hence the enthusiasm for her tango tonight which was definitely not her best dance of the series. She is one of the better dancers, I'm not saying she isn't, but tonight she seemed to be struggling to keep up with James in the turns yet the judges said her execution was excellent.

She is consistently overmarked and Jimmy is consistently undermarked every week. This I thought was her weakest.

Definitely not a Gavin fan here, but to be fair, he has shown a bit personality this week. Granted, it was still tied up in pseudo-ego talk, which comes across all wrong, but he showed a genuine competitiveness this week.

I also found his genuine disappointment after the dance quite refreshing from the obligatory 'I'm having the best time', which they are obviously urged to say by the PR team. As I say, not a fan, but at least it wasn't the typical BS, which is really starting to grind on me.

If anything I felt Pamela was undermarked as her Tango was muh better than Scott who I think is definately overmarked at times.

To be fair, quite a lot of people have taken a dislike to him because he isn't very good. And he really isn't.

If you can't see why Pamela deserved 9s for her efforts this week and last week and Gavin didn't - then I suspect that Gavin's looks have clouded your judgement.

It's not that people have taken a dislike to Gavin, it's just that he isn't very good.

Hand on heart, I'm rooting for Gavin! I quite like the guy. But his dancing lacks soul. He looks like he's just going through the motions.

Usually I think Pam thoroughly deserves her marks, but tonight her facial expression whilst dancing was a little OTT, it made the dance comical when it should have been deadly serious. Tonight I think Kara was much better than Pamela, and was undermarked.

I think Scott was overmarked tonight by a long way tonight and so was Gavin - he is driving me crazy, he is far too cocky and up himself so to speak.

I don't think Pamela is overscored at all, if she was she'd be top this week. The undermarked one of the top 4 tonight was Kara for definite.

The undermarked one overall though is Jimi. How on earth can his dance and Ann's get the same mark from a once-credible judge (Len)? he's been first twice now and Ann is always near the end, so if you want to talk favouritism, then it's the producers favouring her that gets on my nerves!!

I thought Gavin was bad tonight, no complaints about that mark from me.

Scott was the best of the night. If anything he was slightly undermarked - should have been 4 nines.

I am not so sure that Gavin is cocky. I think he is used to being at the top of his game and is a bit frustrated that he is at the bottom of the pile.

Matt was the best of the night and he should have got 4 nines. Sorry just my opinion OK.

Nothing wrong with Pamela's mark tonight in my opinion. Jimi is the one they are getting it wrong with. His routines are always very entertaining

I agree that tonight they overscored Pamela but I don't think they underscored Gavin at all. I thought he was awful.

Gavin "I'm a Barbie girl" Henson has thoroughly deserved every appauling score he has got so far. He ishideously vain, and as a result very self-conscious on the floor. Until he can get past that, he's screwed. Had to stifle a giggle (well, actually I didn't, I rolled my eyes then laughed) when he mentioned that he desperately hadn't wanted to be voted out last week infront of his idol Peter Andre. It just said it all.

I did have a good lol at Peter Andre being his idol. My god. Reach for the stars Gavin my boy

I am supporting Gavin and fully except the marks he was given tonight. I admit his tango wasn't good tonight although I would say some are being far too harsh. I cannot understand how people take so much pleasure making personal remarks about him though, I've read cruel comments about his relationship split, people making themselves feel clever by asking if he is a simpleton, has a learning disability etc You might call it humour I find it a bit pathetic.

I honestly don't understand the praise lavished on Pamela by the judges. She's competent but lacks grace and style. She reminds me of that old Joyce Grenfell monologue Stately As A Galleon. (you have to be quite old to remember it!)

I didn't like Pamela's tango. When she wasn't looking at James it was like the lights are on, but nobody is home. Her eyes were completely blank. I was fascinated...

I'm quite old, and I'm with you on this one.

Pamela obviously has innate rhythm, and she's doing a bloody good job for a 60 year old who's not in great shape. She's in pretty good shape, mind, and she has LOADS of energy - but dainty she is not, and graceful she is not.

She's being ever so slightly patronised by the judges at the moment. I have my theories as to why - but I'm just about to watch Match of the Day so I ain't got time to share 'em! Oh what a shame!

You took the words right out of my mouth. I felt that was very much the case tonight.

I've found Pamela a bit ungainly at times - both in her Salsa and Tango. I can't help feeling that the judges are more forgiving of minor things she does wrong (because she's so good for her age), whereas they are more critical of someone younger like Kara because their expectations of someone her age are higher.

Evening Sid!

I am not sure that you are right about that- I think that Pam has been better than anyone at the Beeb thought and currently she has upset the pre-season rankings- they always seem to have these at the Beeb and this year it was Matt, Kara and Scott.

Pam came in and upset the apple cart and so they have cut her the slack until now. Technically she was good tonight but she wasn't as good as last week.

Scott IMO was overmarked tonight- it was a good dance but not a tango for me.

Gavin I have a soft spot for but tonight was not good! Katya is trying so hard and I hope at lease one week we get a good dance from him!

Hello you!

I think we might be destined to disagree again this year, sorry FF! I thought Scott & Natalie should have been top of the heap

And I feel Kara and Pamela were of an equal standard this time round.

I think that Gavin isn't always undermarked unless his marks are compared to Ann Widdicombe's or Peter's...except for that ridiculous three of Craig's, last week. What I don't like, is the way he's dealt with. I suppose they had to have a target, though. I think that Jimi is undermarked and getting the similar verbal treatment and to some extent so is Matt. Only Scott, do the judges almost dribble, over and although he is, good, sometimes he's overmarked.
Pamela might have been overmarked a little this week but so were a few others. If anyone's overmarked it's Ann, with a seven from Len, " For entertainment value". That's the same as he gave Jimi.
