Are you still a Whitney fan?

This is for those who liked Whitney before her comeback. Where do you stand with her now? I for one still love her and will support her in any future projects just cause she's Whitney and has given so much over the last 30 years.

I think she can still sing really well, and as a fan I won't stop being a fan, as the media blows everything Whitney-related out of proportion.

What are your thoughts?

I love her old stuff, not so much her newer material.

I still love all her old live performances on youtube (much better than anything she's done on studio). Truly one of the most gifted singers to have ever sung. Ever.

Hated her new album, and I think she sings horribly now. I don't encourage her to keep singing, but I would love to see her being interviewed, and singing short sections of songs! Definitely not a whole tour or album.

for me i LOVE Whitney's stuff from the late 80's and early 90's but since then nothing has grabbed me anyway.

Her performance on The X Factor last year was just car crash telly, it was so bad it was fun! even she joked about it afterwards, unprofessionally done but very well handled afterwards.

Also the new album...what the heck?!?!?! they said she wasn't going to cash in on current trends, but in all seriousness she may as well have! some auto tune on the uptempo's (i hate it when it's abused so i don't mind it it just doesn't suit her!) and her ballads are emotionless! but Nothing But Love is a good song!

overall, Whitney now? NO! Whitney then? YES! mind you i haven't been a 'fan' as such but will always respect her and while many will criticise her live vocals (i too have!) at lest she's doing her best ability and should she release further albums, she should just to mini concerts and shows to perform at at least!

Still love Whitney. I mean it will always be for her old stuff. But i enjoyed her I look to you era which for me came and went and was handled poorly in terms of singles. I don't actually see a place for her in the charts anymore but i think she could still churn out a few more platinum albums and a world tour.
