Cannot make HDR read / update loader etc

Hi all,

I am trying to update my HDR to loader version .53 from .52 using the USB I have. Its about 16Gb size.

I downloaded the software from Humax site, changed the name (actually downloaded all available software there appliciable for my HDR).

Followed the instructions about standby button being pressed for 30 seconds - light on USB flashes and goes solid after a few seconds. No updating screen on tv appears nor does BOOT disappear from box's screen.

My question is - does the USB need to be formatted in aparticular format? If so how is this done and if not why is it not working?

I orginally had it set up on one cable but now am on a quad lnb and want to be on the latest loader and operating software but neither can be uploaded to the box.

Regards all

1. Make sure that the name is exact - I think it is case dependant FOXSAT-HDR_upgrade.hdf
2. Try a different memory stick - FAT32 formatting should be fine (the stick should only contain one partition).

After changing to two cables it is necessary to do a factory reset.

Make sure that your pc is set to display file extentions. If not you can easily get FOXSAT-HDR_upgrade.hdf.hdf

The FS should be FAT32 which it likely is anyway
