someone good is going to go before Ann does - that is obvious. she also stated she would not be doing a John Sergeant on it and stepping down so it will be up to the public to vote her off.

Well I am doubly glad there is no dance-off this year. I never liked the judges having final say anyway and I never, ever, ever want to see that Charleston again!

About that AT. I thought some of V&F's kicks between legs during their solo were mistimed. I'm sure there will be bruises tomorrow...I mean today! Katya looked unsteady in a couple of those swivels on the plinth - not sure if that was her fault or Artem's - and at the end, when the men dropped to their knees in glory of the women, Artem either fluffed his timing, or refused to do the "you're wonderful, too good-for-me" pose. He looked decidely sulky to me.

Am I being picky?

Best moment: Ian's look of relief when Shilt's got the heave-ho and Michelle got to dance another week. What a thoroughly lovely man he is.

I know what's wrong with her?!

I'd never let him leave the dressing room if he was my partner.

Gavin was the first name called - Jimi was the last to be saved (when Peter was put in the danger zone)

First 6 called in this order (I think)
1- Gavin & Katya
2- Scott & Natalie
3- Matt & Aliona
4- Tina & Jared
5- Patsy & Robin
6- Michelle & Ian in bottom 2

Will try to remember the rest

Two fantastic pro dances tonight, the Jive and a really great AT. It really was Peter's time to go, so all is good.

I think the next 6 went

7- Ann & Anton
8- Pamela & James
9- Kara & Artem
10- Felicity & Vincent

This left Jimi & Flavia and Peter & Erin... Peter in bottom two with Michelle, Jimi safe

Peter & Erin out

I may have got Felicity & Kara in the wrong order. Hope this helps

So glad Peter left. That Charelston was atrocious and he was getting on my nerves.
Wow, wonder how Michelle will be feeling this week and I hope she comes out well at the end of this.

Bye-bye, Peter Shilton. You did your best, but that Charleston was dire and you deserved to go home for that performance alone. I'm sorry for Erin though - she really is a class act.

I have to say I've enjoyed this and the last results show more than the first one, mostly because of the quality of the pro dances. Great group jive - boy, that Matt Cutler knows how to choreograph a good jive - and an interesting AT. Vincent and Flavia were great, of course, but I thought Katya was brilliant too, and Kristina didn't do a bad job, either. I didn't really enjoy the rumba to Neil Diamond; I know it was a show dance version, but too many showy lifts are as bad as gimmicky props, IMO.

I'm invariably sad when stars who are a bit past their sell-by date are wheeled out to perform on shows like this. Does Brucie just call up his old friends? I know Neil Diamond is enjoying something of a renaissance after the success of 'Sweet Caroline' on 'Glee', but I found that painful; he massacred a favourite song of mine. However, I suppose we ought to thank him for providing medical proof that botox harms the vocal chords.

Are you saying we were better off cos we had Peter Andre and Neil Diamond? Never heard of Florence and the machine or Jason Derulo.

I dont think they were mistimed at all. If you are thinking of the figures that went just before they finished their little solo bit (and just before Vincent picked Flavia up and she did that little kicky thing midair)... then that figure is called "the octopus" and its a series of secada steps pushing legs out the way. They've showed some of us how to do it and although it looks a bit like they would be getting bruises if done remotely well no bruises.

Hi Sara. Yes Ive watched and enjoyed their AT routines in the past and caught their demos on ITT.

On the Sunday show, the intricate steps didnt seem as cleanly executed, but it could have been a camera-work issue as opposed to the actual dancing. I shall watch again as often on second viewing a routine can look different. As an example, on the live show, Scott missing the embellishment in the corner was glaringly obvious. Rewatching on iplayer, I didnt notice the missing bit at all.

I was dissapointed that Neil Diamonds excellent performance was spoiled by the audiences applause every time Robin and Kristina shuffled their feet.

Can't these edjits contain themselves until the end, gorram it! <grrr!>

Poor Vincent!! It must be awful having Flick as a partner. I doubt if they get on. As for the kiss, YUCK, Flick is 64 for goodness sake. Would any young man want a full on lip smacker from a granny!!! It would have been much more fun with Rachel his last partner. Sorry, find these 60 year old women going on about how gorgeous their young partners are a bit sickening. Felicity Kendel and Pamela look ridiculous behaving like teenagers over their dance partners. As for Paul going on about how is wife was away for the weekend when he left Strictly!! Good grief, what has happened to Strictly.

Oh I SO MISS the old Gang of Ian, Darren, Lillia, Matt etc. Ian is a lovely, lovely guy, he is a great teacher and how the BBC could dismiss him back into the chorus line is beyond my understanding. Brendan would have KILLED HIM if Michelle had gone out this week or worse, if she had been spectacular after being taught for only one week by Ian!!!!!!

Sad to see Neil Diamond a shadow of his former self. He has been one of the true greats but it's time to move on. Brandon Flowers has been in the UK recently promoting a solo album, now he would have been a good choice!
