I always found that the Lady Gaga and Beyonce - Telephone had nothing to do with the song. I find that the song is about being harassed by a boyfriend or someone at a party or on a night out, yet the video revolves around them poisoning people.

^ I agree with that. I think it's just because the video follows on from the Paparazzi video.

Most current music videos don't follow the song. I think the better question would be to ask what videos either go with or follow the song and actually enhance the song, as that is what I think a video should do. The only two I can think of is the Black Eyed Peas - Meet Me Halfway and Acapella by Kelis.
