Next week Ann and Gavin at the bottom on the judge's scores, but Michelle and Gavin in the bottom two overall, a good bet, but Craig seems to want Ann in danger of being voted off.
If Gavin and/or Michelle go before Ann, it doesn't bother me.
After that it would start to get "serious"..and I think the "tone" of the posts on here would change dramatically.
Up till now, I thought the judges were being kind to Ann, to prevent another John Sargeant situation. Craig has shown his hand too early and now risks another repeat of last year.
Can we really expect anything else? He's there to judge on the dancing and she is without doubt the worse dancer this year. Of course he thinks she should be gone. For me, I don't mind her being there until her presence starts sending the good dancers home. Until then, I can live with her in the comp, she's funny and entertaining.
It would have annoyed me if Craig hadn't been honest. Ann is the poorest dancer in the competition. And although some may find her entertaining, I just find her and Anton's staged 'fun' very tiresome and patronising.
Craig was asked who should have been in the bottom 2. He said he wanted Peter and Ann in the bottom 2. Considering that was the position the judges put them in his reply made perfect sense.
I'm of the opinion that somebody posted on anothe thread; quite frankly, if you have not inspired people to pick up the phone and vote for you, you don't deserve a place in the contest.
I 'think' that Ann will outlast Gavin, Felicity, Patsy, Michelle and Tina.
Seriously though why is Ann in Strictly?. She doesn't have a hope in hell of winning and, as shown this week, has to rely on gimmicks to see her through.
It is the John Seargent scenario all over again where Strictly becomes a laughing stock at the expense of other "more serious" celebrities. I don't get it. Of course the cynic in me says that this could all be contrived to get some headlines against X factor.
Is Craig right? I don't know, depends what the BBC thinks it is providing each week, a dance competition or entertainment. Ann certainly fits in the latter.

Coupled with ratings, otherwise they'd just bring back Come Dancing.
It's personalities, coupled with fun that brings in the audience, not perfect dancing.
