Ultra slim bracket advise needed...
Hi all.
I have just purchased the linked bracket to mount my Samsung LED / LCD TV to a stud wall. Link to bracket details Having taken a look at the fitting instructions they seem very poor and vague. I believe the bracket uses the top two fixing points on the VESA arrangement to the rear of the TV to fix to the top bracket rail, however I can't work out how the bottom to fixing points are utilised. These seem like small studs, but I can't figure out how these provide the TV any additional support. ![]() Anyone familiar with these types of brackets? Can anyone advise? |

looks like you screw the long thing to the wall
screw the small bits to the back of the TV then hang the TV by hanging the small bits over the long bit. ---------- mine is similar, except there is a single plate to screw to the back of the TV |

So the TV hangs off of two points rather than the usual four? do the lower studs just act as spacers then?

in mine, the bit that screws to the TV hangs over the wall fitment. it only hangs over a single point -= ie the top channel/bar of the wall fitment
the lower stuff just seems to provided for an antitheft mechanism. |
