Jonathan Ross has often said his show was already recorded earlier in the week, especially if something was going to be taking place between recording day and Friday night that he wouldn't have known the outcome of!

It is well publicised that the Queen's Christmas Day message is recorded some time before the day it's shown... but nowhere have I seen that the SCD results show has already been recorded on the previous night, other than on here!

But by Tess talking about
'last night's dances' etc on the Sunday show, she is thereby inferring that Saturday's programme was shown as it happened, on Saturday and making it appear the Sunday night show is on a different day... ie, happening on Sunday!
