Britain's shameful racism
Tonight the people of Britain - all the millions who watch and vote in X-Factor - showed the true feelings beneath the thin veneer of 'tolerance' and 'acceptance'' we hear in the newspapers and from our elected politicans.
That a clear 'novelty act' such as Wagner continues to be voted through whilst black singers are penalised by the popular vote is a shameful smear on the claims of liberalism amongst the general populace. No wonder people are flocking to the BNP and EDL, and little wonder the politicans won't talk about it. This X-Factor result has - perhaps ironically - lifted the veil on the work yet to be done in the field of tolerance and multiculturalism. A sad, shameful result for the country. A failure of liberalism Success for racism. A terrible reflection on us all. |

I don't think the GBP were racist but, I do think John was stitched up royally by the programme. Well they've lost my phone vote for the rest of the series because I won't be picking up the phone for anyone after the way that lad has been treated.

Conveniently OP forgets that Leona Lewis and Alex Burke are two of the most successful winners so far. |

Can people please stop with the "public is racist" crap. It's just not true! If you think the British public are racist but can see why people can support the BNP then you really are pretty dumb. |

Don't be an idiot! It has nothing to do with race, it's a talent competition!
The X Factor has had black winners, and black successes off the back of the show. It's got nothing to do with it! |

Well we have had 4 black/mixed race acts in the top 2 over the years but only 2 women- none of them white. The sexism and prejudice against white females is clearly far worse if we are going to go down this route.

John was consistently a dull throwback and TreyC's last performance was horrible. |

Of course it couldn't possibly be to do with the fact that both the singers in the bottom two were very very dull and forgettable. I agree Wagner is awful and I wish he'd already gone, but he amuses some people and will get the 'lets piss everyone off' vote for a few weeks yet. If we are that racist howcome Alexandria Burke won a couple of years ago and also Leona Lewis.

Yeah, it seems odd.
Why the hell was Treyc bottom two? People obviously don't vote based on who can sing!! |

Oh for goodness sake not this old chestnut again.
Think back to the year before last, JLS came second to Alexandra Burke. What do they all have in common, they are of black heritage. |

No John went because he was set up with his song choice, styling, performance order and the ridiculus dancers by the producers/judges.

Not sure if you remembered the almost fully white girlband (Belle Amie) being in the bottom two with the now elimated Diva Fever... also white... all after the WHITE Storm was kicked out. All these people are WAY better than Wagner yet left or almost did and its nothing to do with race.
I think John just didn't wow... and TreyC fans probably didn't realise she was at risk so didn't vote... whereas Wagner fans know he's at risk every week. |

I don't think racism is a factor whatsoever.
It is a simply down to whether you are box office & get in The Daily Star every day. Neither John nor Tracy get talked about in the tabloids. They're both bland to the point of being anonymous & sadly that was why they were in the bottom 2. |
