Before last year I would have been up in arms about it, but after Chris won I stopped taking the show seriously. If Ann wins then Ann wins. The show lost it's 'serious' credibility a long time ago and it is just a bit of light Saturday night entertainment.

I would imagine Matt is more popular than Scott but that's just me having an educated guess.”

As John did leave voluntarily, the only guide we can take from that is that she will last for a good few weeks yet.

I firmly believe that John would not have made the final, let alone win. People may vote for the underdog/entertainment early on but later on the dancing becomes more important, a lot of people don't vote until towards the end of the competition.

My belief is that Ann will go sometime in November, not sure if it will be beginning, middle or end but she won't be around in December when it gets to the sharp end of the competition.

I was just wondering how you think they could salvage the credibility you think they lost? Surely the only option would be to remove the public vote? And then for my mind it really would lose its sparkle. Based solely on the judges, we'd probably have the likes of Lisa Snowdon and Ricky Whittle as winners, neither of whom are popular on DS.

And when do you think they lost their serious credentials? As far back as series 1 when Chris Parker came second? Or when Julian made the final? There have always been underdogs who people vote for. I think that if Ann went next week, many of her votes would go to Gavin. It's just the nature of the voting public.

Gavin and Michelle will go before Ann. Possibly Tina? Jimi? Maybe even Patsy.

So I'd say she'll stay for 2/3 more weeks and then get the boot. And don't mutter that Ann IS the (old) boot.

But she won't go before the current top 4.

I agree with all the potential female casualties you list as possible victims of the Widdinator - and I'd add Felicity to the list - but I suspect Gavin may even survive some of them if he continues to dance appallingly then play the hurt little boy afterwards.

I also fear Ann may bulldozer Kara and Pamela out of the way. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we had a final of Ann, Scott and Matt ... just look at the way she is hyped at every possible moment.

Obviously I hope that never comes to pass - but I'm not holding my breath ...
