I have two questions regarding this:

I can play music off my connected hard drive and I like to go to sleep with music on. While watching TV, you can turn the picture off. With the media player function you can't do this. I would like to have a blank screen and the sound coming through my amp from the TV. How can I do this?

I would also like to shuffle not just the songs on an album, but all the songs on the hard drive (all stored in folders by artist and then album). Again how do I do this?

I have a feeling that both of these can't be done at the moment, but they would be useful in the next firmware upgrade

I know I can put sleep function, but when I press menu to do this, it takes me out of the media player, and then I have to go back in. Also, I bought an 8GB USB memory stick, which I formatted via the TV. It lets me watch videos off it and listen to music off it, but it will not let me record through it. I bought it in Rymans. I could use my hard drive, but it wants to format it and I have 500GB of files on there
