Considering the ratings I'd imagine for many The X Factor is actually the only point of the week where they actually watch ITV1.

I'm guessing the BBC didn't reckon much to it - not even enough to give it an off-peak 5.30pm slot on Saturday nights. Kind of ironic too it was going head to head with Steve Jones' farewell from T4.

If that's the case it's ratings really are bad! - and to think they give it two channels too.
