5.30pm is graveyard, 3.30pm on a Sunday afternoon is a cold dead body. When was the last time anything was comissioned for 3.30pm besides the EE Omnibus and Points of View. Obviously a stinker of epic proportions.

Held on to 60% of its inheritance though. Had Casualty been getting 6.5m, it may have had 4m. It is very poorly scheduled in a graveyard slot. Even without Celeb, hardly anyone will think "must flick to BBC1 for Armstrong & Miller" when TXF finishes. Had it been held over till January or February, I expect it would be getting c4m after Casualty. But it would be better off on Thursdays or Fridays.
That said, last night's wasn't the strongest episode.”
I agree with Armstrong & Miller. I watched the last series but this series suffers from being a small part of a crowded schedule. The entire run either partially or wholy clashes with The X Factor, I'm a Celebrity or both. Why not save it until a later date.
No doubt when the Saturday schedule becomes less competitive, the BBC will roll out endless Live at the Apollo/Michael McIntyre repeats
