Really don't understand why they haven't merged it with Lorraine yet.
They will top a million again when Corrie's 50th week begins because I guarantee they'll be on the cobbles but at the moment they are coat-tailing on anything remotely successful on ITV!! |

I haven't see a programme plugged during prime time TV as much as Daybreak this weekend. If you can't get an extra 100,000 from 16 million to follow up an X Factor evictee then they would have been in trouble.

Since when did BARB/Attentional/whoever impose a limit on how many show's a website can write about? (Unless Media Guardian are making things up!)
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010...bc2-tv-ratings (comments from author in bold) GHarris - 23 November 2010 1:27PM Why can't Media Guardian just list the ratings for the primetime shows for the 5 terrestrial channels between 7-11pm. JohnPlunkett - 23 November 2010 2:34PM GHarris: We are not allowed to publish full audience figures for the time period you suggest. GHarris - 23 November 2010 2:51PM @JohnPlunkett Thanks for replying. Okay maybe you're not allowed to post the full figures but surely you can post more ratings? I mean, you could mention what ratings the soaps got yesterday. Or how The One Show rated with its new temporary host Matt Baker. Or a few digital ratings. I was looking at your ratings reports from a year or two ago and they were much more in depth, with more ratings and analysis. These days for some reason you just mention about 10 shows (sometimes even less than that!). JohnPlunkett - 23 November 2010 2:55PM Hi GHarris we are limited in how many shows we can write about, but will take a look at the One Show tomorrow. And you make a good point about week on week audience for Accused. When there are digital shows that are new/of particular interest, we will continue to look at those too. Going to be flexible. When it's a really big night for ratings, with lots of new shows/interesting clashes we'll reflect that. ------ How bizarre. DS manage perfectly fine. |

Just for anyone wondering, because of the timing of Easter weekend, it means we have:
April 2011 18 - normal day 19 - normal day 20 - normal day 21 - normal day 22 - Good Friday 23 - Easter Saturday 24 - Easter Sunday 25 - Bank Holiday Monday 26 - normal day 27 - normal day 28 - normal day 29 - Bank Holiday Friday 30 - Weekend 1 May - Weekend 2 May - Bank Holiday Monday Will be interesting to see whether BBC and ITV treat the Friday as a proper Bank Holiday - and what they choose to do with the other 3 normal days. |

I believe we also get 2 bonus bank holidays for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee the following year in June 2012. [EDIT: seems it's only 1 extra day as the late May one is moved to June.] Nothing like a bank holiday for publicity to boost the TV ratings for the Royal Wedding though. I suppose it will be broadcast on several different channels but the BBC could still be on for 20m + audience. |

you have to be a full BARB subscriber to get overnights/spot data for TV
I think BARB gives Guardian a bit license to report some overnights. BARB aren't particularly keen on the data being given away freely, hence they've probably given MG a limit this is just my opinion based on BARB getting us (MediaTel) to limit what tv data could and couldn't be seen by our subscribers. I don't know this is a fact for MG or DS or whoever |

Seems like it's being taped on the Wednesday, to broadcast on Friday. |
