iPhone 3G charging issue
Last week I had a accident with my phone with mozzarella liquid (this is why I don't cook)
The phone then wouldn't respond so I left it alone until a few days ago where I was able to turn it on but i've discovered that when charging it would reboot every couple of minutes the battery was full green but off the charger it would only last about 20 minutes before switching off (off the charger it doesn't self reboot) So last night i left it in the charger to charge the full evening where it would reboot every few minutes but this morning I noticed the battery bar was at the lowest red setting so i assumed it didn't charge but I took the phone with me to work anyway and strangely even when it showed little battery its actually has lasted me the whole day (used it to make calls, browse the internet and used some apps so there has been a strain on the battery) Now i'm wondering bar the rebooting issue is there just a fault with the charger icon? Has anyone else had this? I've got 7 months left on my contract and this would be my second phone if I need to claim insurance so its gonna be expensive. is it really worth it? I've restored the phone upgraded to the new software of both iTunes and iPhone and done all he tricks i've read on the internet. guess i'm just moaning hah sorry people. |

Might be worth going to a Apple Store near by. Might cost you, but I have heard they are very good.

Yep, Apple store looks the best bet, seeing you have reset it, If they tell them you have to pay because of the Mozzeralla damage, tell them you are cheesed off
