Foo Fighters UK Dates
TJK2008
26-10-2010
So amongst the Take That tour annoucement, the foos have announced two dates at Milton Keynes Bowl next year.

I'm definately going to be there, love the Foos. Does anyone know how much the tickets were for Wembley?

Oh blimey, I'd just seen something saying Death Cab for Cutie were playing at the MK bowl next year as well and thought this was a bit strange - seems its the same gig as they're one of the support bands!

Biffy Clyro are also on the bill. I might have to go to this.

If memory serves (and it was 2 years ago!) they were £60.

I'm going to try and get tickets for the Saturday because the support are:
Biffy Clyro
Death Cab For Cutie
Tame Impala

Sheesh. From what I've heard on a forum, the price is 45 quid+booking fees.

I thought the bowl was a pretty weird venue for them, and then I realised that Take That are playing Wembley on the same days. I guess they got in there first. I have a strange feeling "due to overwhelming demand" gigs will be added after including Wembley..which is easier for me to get to anywyas.

They were superb at Wembley. Rocked my socks off and were on for ages! Absolutely the best gig i have ever seen. Really hoping to get tickets now!!

Were very good at Wembley, was 45 quid as stated.

I'd be very surprised if there were any more added. They seem dead on to headline at least one UK festival this year, so I can't see them being able to do too many of their own shows off the back of that.

Great to hear that the Foos are back!!! I saw them on their last UK arena tour and they were outstanding, I'd definitely recommend them live to anyone who is tempted! I wonder if they will play arena-sized venues again next year or whether it will just be stadium dates?

Interesting to see that Tame Impala are also on the bill, I'm surprised they managed to get such a high profile gig as they're pretty much unknown.

But they're brilliant. Just got back from seeing them tonight in Birmingham and they're one of the best live bands I've seen in a good while

They played to 200 people tonight, will be quite a step up for them supporting the Foo Fighters!

I seen them live in 2005. Although I'm not a huge fan they were a big deal when I was at college with my friends so I knew most of their stuff. They were amazing live.

Ah, didn't realise they've been around so long, as I'd not really heard of them myself - but they are indeed amazing live!

Ahah!

Yeah I'm not sure I'd really be bothered about see Foo Fighters, even though I'd quite like to see all the support acts....hmm what to do!

I've seen the Foos 4 times and they are one of the finest bands around in terms of varying their setlist ( Muse take note). There are 2 problems however which put me off, one the support acts are rubbish and 2 getting to the MK Bowel is even worse. I think I'll wait for a better time to catch them again as they're bound to play a tour.
