My brother 'lost' my unlocked SE payg phone so i would like to get a spare phone..... so a sim free PAYG phone is what im looking for....nothing fancy but if it could do email that would be great.....any suggestions? (i have a sure isle of man sim that roams all uk networks so would have to be sim free to enable use of all networks i guess?)

How could I put my iphones micro sim in if i needed to, can you get adapters?

A great little phone for £30 which will do e-mail, unlocked for all networks (although the provided Asda mobile service is excellent with cheap calls using the Vodafone network). Your local Asda should have them.

Micro SIM card adapter: http://www.supergets.co.uk/?p=product&pid=2497

Someone in the carphone warehouse said all their payg phones are sim free and not locked to any network.

Is this true?

Im very cautious of what im told there!

If you are on O2 you should be able to get a free micro sim adapter if you go into one of their stores. Other networks may do something similar
