Basically an example of how it will work, I can't reveal the tasks. I will give a made-up example:

Each group has to come up with a short, but well thought out and commercial advertorial/editorial. Hugo Boss are releasing a new fragrance called "Charm". Your job is to create the piece that will then, if accepted by the company, be fired out to national and regional publication. It will also be used commercially on the TV as part of an advert. You as individual groups will create the logo. The fragrance has already been made, but I have persuaded Hugo Boss to let my teams come up with the advertising for it.

You must work as a group. Full input from all members to create this. Each one of you can chuck ideas into the mix. Communicate via the thread as well as PM. You'll have a deadline for the boardroom meeting and it will be then that 1 of you gets fired.

Agree, disagree, but in the end you must create this advertorial/editorial.

You could chuck paragraphs into the thread, pictures, different designs and then agree and disagree on what works.

Use your imagination. I'm not looking for a picture of the bottle itself. Hugo already have that designed and can input that themselves. What Hugo Boss are looking for is something that will promote their new fragrance well.

Once you've decided on your piece, set a pitch out. Decide on who will do the pitch. Maybe it will be more than one person?

You will be set a date and time to pitch your promotion to Hugo Boss. That I will get back to you with.

Only an example. There will be a thread for each group. 8 members in each group. When you are sent off to do tasks that is the thread you will go in. There will also be a boardroom thread, and a pitch thread.

So five threads in total. It is all about having it out in the group thread. These should and will be exclusive to the team members only. This thread will be for other people who aren't in the game to comment.

Chuck in paragraphs, images, logos, designs etc. Then agree and disagree to what works and not. Decide as a group who works on what, or all do everything then have a discussion in your group thread with what works and not.

It has been explained rather quickly, but that is only an example.

Hope that makes sense. In the promotion thread will be the details of the pitch.

What time and day the group needs to be there for that pitch. In a professional and well thought out way you will pitch your advertisement to the company. A forum member, maybe myself, being the person working for Hugo Boss (< examples) and listening to the pitch.

In the end, myself and my two workers will decide which team wins if both fail to get a deal with Hugo Boss (example). If one team secures a deal and the other doesn't then one person from the losing team will be fired. Exactly like the TV version really.

In the example above, your task is to become designers. See yourselves as a design company, and Hugo Boss want you to exclusively produce them a advertorial/editorial that will be used in press to promote their new fragrance.

Details that must be included in design of work (anything else can be made up, for example, it is completely up to you what you make the smell of, but the following MUST be included):

Fragrance name: Charm.
Fragrance sizes: 50ml; 75ml; 100ml' 150ml.
etc
etc
etc

I hope that all makes sense as an example.

It will all be about using your intelligence.

If I open up applications, make me believe you're the real deal.

You could absolutely lie your way through the application and how am I to know whether you're telling the truth or not? But make it believable.

Not that I should be giving you ideas.

I don't quite understand, will participants have to be online at a certain date and time? I'm interested but I need to know the requirements / limitations.

Basically, Sir Lord Milk is looking for the next 'BIG' thing.

The pitch appointments will be set in advance. 24 hours in advance. The boardroom times will be set in advance.

You will know in due course. It won't just be sprung upon you.

You put in the amount of work you wish, but use your intelligence here. You will most likely be questioned on it.

You have to be available for the boardroom. That is for definite. As a team you will decide all the other things. Who does the pitches, who does what. So that isn't for me to tell you. It is team work. You all decide that as a team.

Rather self explanatory. It's the whole point of The Apprentice. I won't be doing the tasks, the people in th team will so it will be up to them to arrange things. You will have a week to complete the task so there is plenty of times to decide who does what as team, or all add your input when you can, but making sure you reach the goal that is being set.

That is up to the team. The team will be set the tasks, times for pitches which they must arrive on time for, and the boardroom schedule. Failure to do so may result in that team losing.

All in advance of course. The times will be set in advance, but the task will be announced whether you're online or not.

Ok, well given I have appointments booked at various times and can't commit to being online at any specific time I'd have to say no - shame, it sounds like fun.

I could do this with a minimum of 6 people. 3 people in each team, but it would mean a short series. Better than not having one.

Ideally, it would be fantastic to have 10 people apply. 5 in each team.
