There are a series of music events happening as part of the Are We Here? festival I thought might interest some of you.

 Sketching Lines on the pavement – a DJ Yoda tribute to Malcolm McLaren across the central buildings of Croydon (November 5 at Clocktower Arts Centre, Croydon)

 Music for Silents - Erstwhile Siouxsie & the Banshees bassist Steven Severin presents the second instalment in his ongoing series at the David Lean Cinema on November 8.

 Bass How Low Can You Go Q&A with Mad Professor, Moody Boyz, Artwork, DJ Chef, Loefah and more (November 19, Black Sheep Bar, Croydon)

 Croydon Dub Club hosted by Mad Professor and featuring some very special guests (straight after the Q&A on November 19)

 Bobby Friction presents South Asian Future Music - on November 20, Brit-Asian club scene kingpin Bobby Friction will be taking over Croydon’s The Club for a night of serious bass pressure exploring the most exciting and vital music being made by producers of South Asian descent.

 Dubkulture hosted by DJ Pistonsbeneath and featuring a series of very special guests including Tunnage and Tek One. (November 3, 10 & 17 at the Black Sheep Bar, Croydon)

As the firmly established hotbed of dubstep, ‘Are We Here?’ will also be honouring all those other styles which have graced through Croydon and have been significantly altered by the town.

For further information on the events featuring Artwork, DJ Yoda, Bobby Friction, Steven Severin et al. visit http://www.************/arewehere2010

Thanks
